This apartment was yearning for an open concept future but there was a wall separating the entryway and kitchen from the dining/living area. It had to come down. Recycling the pass-through's butcher block counter added great visual appeal and functionality to this vintage-inspired galley kitchen.

PROJECT // Kitchen Correction
LOCATION // Queens, New York
BUDGET SIZE // between $1,000–5,000

We couldn’t be happier with the result. We entertain a lot, and as we all know, people seem to gravitate to the kitchen because they want to be able to engage with the hosts. Now, guests can be in the living room or dining area and still chat with us without it feeling claustrophobic.
